Theme for Week I: MARY! TEACH US THE LIFE OF ADORATION!"

Please pray the Ave Maris Stella to accompany the daily readings for Week I. You may choose to contine the daily recitation of the VeniCreator.

Ave Maris Stella

Hail bright star of ocean,
God's own Mother blest,
Ever sinless Virgin,
Gate of heavenly rest.

Taking that sweet Ave,
Which from Gabriel came,
Peace confirm within us,
Changing Eva's name.

Break the captives' fetters,
Light on blindness pour,
All our ills expelling,
Every bliss implore.

Show thyself a Mother;
May the Word Divine,
Born for us thy Infant,
Hear our prayers through thine.

Virgin all excelling,
Mildest of the mild,
Freed from guilt, preserve us,
Pure and undefiled.

Keep our life all spotless,
Make our way secure,
Till we find in Jesus,
Joy forevermore.

Through the highest heaven
To the Almighty Three,
Father, Son and Spirit,
One same glory be. Amen.

MEDITATION

"Jesus is the King of the Eucharist and He wishes only trained servitors in His court, only those who have served their apprenticeship. "One must learn to serve before presenting oneself to the King!" pg. 10

"All Mary's life -taken as a whole- may be summed up in this one word-adoration; for adoration is the perfect service of God, and it embraces all the duties of the creature toward the Creator." pg. 11

Practice- Offer our adoration to Jesus Eucharistic through the hands of Mary.

Aspiration- Thou art blessed amongst woman, O Mary, and Blessed is Jesus Eucharistic, the fruit of thy womb!

Additional thoughts:

When our lives become a continual offering without looking to "be done." we will be in accord with Our Lady who lived in perpetual Adoration of the Body of Christ. Perpetual giving, perpetual offering, perpetually serving. Mary's life was filled with a never ending gift of Herself to God, it pleased Her to provide. This is how life can become a living prayer. The awareness of being in the presence God at every moment and His Life in us teaches us to impart a life of Love. The offering of one's daily duties oblige us to labor for the salvation of the souls to whom God has entrusted to us. Each and every encounter, each and every person placed in our path is an opportunity to become like Mary, The Life of Adoration.

This is the promise of The Father.
