She received then that treasure of grace which was to make her the co-redemptrix of mankind, partner in the work of salvation. She never missed an opportunity of practicing virtue. She welcomed all the rays of God's holiness, absorbing them into her being without letting anything to be loss. She trembled before an angel. Mary never thought that she had done enough. Her later life was a prolonged martyrdom without the least alleviation. Mary embroidered the robe of her Immaculate Conception. It is only through our purity and holiness that we can prevail with God. God can only accomplish great things in pure souls. With what watchful care should we not guard our Baptismal innocence! If we have lost it we must purify it by penance. We must be pure. Without purity we can never please the Eucharistic God, for He is purity itself for purity is love." abbrev.text MEDITATION: St. Peter Julian Eymard's spiritual insight can move the deep recesses of the heart. How again can we bring the message he is conveying into our lives? If Mary is the Co-Redemptrix of mankind, the partner in the work of salvation with Jesus, then our call is to ask for grace. We ask Mary, who is, "Full of Grace," every time we say the Hail Mary too, "Pray for us sinners." It is a very good practice to ask for grace daily. Grace will help us grow in virtue, grow in purity, grow in wisdom, and ultimately grow in love. Saint Pope John Paul II reminds us over and over again, "Be not afraid." We think for a moment here, Mary trembled before an angel, her trembling was from never thinking she did enough for the Almighty, her love was magnificent. Mary's later years of prolonged martyrdom reveal to us her knowledge on the merits of offering suffering up to receive back the gift of grace. This reality is what made her give to the Father with absolute purity. The anguish of her heart that she offered to God brought grace, for even after the Crucifixion Mary sacrificed for sinners. The jewels she placed on her robe were gifts that she offered in love to God. We too are invited to create a robe of salvation with our lives by the way of living out the Sacraments. Jesus living in the Eucharist is the greatest of all Sacraments of Grace available to us. Mary, teach us the life of Adoration! Laura SEND: If you cannot get to daily Mass, you should offer a spiritual Communion. The faith you place in the prayer is the grace you will receive from it. Keep a journal. Plan on making a good incisive confession. May this preparation to consecrate your life to Jesus Christ be a time to offer sacrifices in the hope of rising closer to God. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, pray for us PRAYER Please pray the Ave Maris Stella to accompany the daily readings for Week I. You may choose to continue the daily recitation of the Veni Creator. Ave Maris Stella Hail bright star of ocean, God's own Mother blest, Ever sinless Virgin, Gate of heavenly rest. Taking that sweet Ave, Which from Gabriel came, Peace confirm within us, Changing Eva's name. Break the captives' fetters, Light on blindness pour, All our ills expelling, Every bliss implore. Show thyself a Mother; May the Word Divine, Born for us thy Infant, Hear our prayers through thine. Virgin all excelling, Mildest of the mild, Freed from guilt, preserve us, Pure and undefiled. Keep our life all spotless, Make our way secure, Till we find in Jesus, Joy forevermore. Through the highest heaven To the Almighty Three, Father, Son and Spirit, One same glory be. Amen.

You can find the link here: http://archive.org/stream/monthofourladyof00eymauoft#page/35/mode/1up St Peter Julian Eymard's words: "Mary's Immaculate Conception was foretold in the terrestrial Paradise. The Most Holy Virgin is that blessed woman who was to crush with her heel the head of the infernal serpent. God in creating Mary immaculate, scores His great victory over the devil; He reestablishes His sovereignty over the earth, God reenters creation as Master. But behold Mary. God overshadows her. Mary is, by her purity, God's paradise with her, He will renew the world." abbrev.text MEDITATION In the forward, we are told St. Peter Julian Eymard can be repetitive in his notes, so we ask why? What instruction is he trying to place in our heads that will lead to our hearts? Through the Immaculate Conception, Mary was able to carry the mercy of God's Love into the world. We are consecrating our life to God by the way of our Lady of the most Blessed Sacrament. It is extraordinary that our overall theme for this consecration is, "Enter into thy womb.” To become pure, we need to enter into the same womb that was left Immaculate so that we can be born of Mary. She will clothe us in the virtues of her Love. In Matthew, we read, "Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God" (Matthew 5:8). In the Eucharist, we receive God's love, and in turn, we give that love by the sacrifices, we make for our communities, families, and friends. The incarnate life of Jesus makes it possible to make every day a new beginning, to make every day a pure act of thanksgiving, to make every day a reciprocal act of love by our Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. If you cannot get to daily Mass, offer a spiritual Communion. In the reception of Holy Communion, we come with the faith that longs to be pure of heart. "Mary, teach us the life of Adoration." We come into a world in need of our baptismal life and promise of the Heavenly Father. Laura SEND Continue to journal. Pray through the intercession of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. As you write, search deep in your soul for the things that may be keeping you from being pure of heart (old wounds, forgiveness that needs to be given and taken, etc.). Plan on making a good confession for the specific intention of your consecration vows. Consecration is a promise. We promise to live in God's grace. Mary is the gift God has given us to bring us closer to Him. Please pray the Ave Maris Stella to accompany the daily readings for Week I. You can find the link here: http://archive.org/stream/monthofourladyof00eymauoft#page/30/mode/1up St Peter Julian Eymard's words: "Jesus is the King of the Eucharist, and He wishes only trained servitors in His court, only those who have served their apprenticeship. One must learn to serve before presenting oneself to the King. All Mary's life -taken as a whole- may be summed up in this one word-adoration; for adoration is the perfect service of God, and it embraces all the duties of the creature toward the Creator." abbrev.text MEDITATION When our lives become a continuous offering, without looking to "be done," we will be in accord with our Lady who lived in perpetual Adoration of the Body of Christ. She lived a life of perpetual giving, perpetual offering, and perpetually serving. Mary's life was filled with a never-ending gift of herself to God. It pleased her to provide. By this example, we see how life can become a living prayer. When we become aware of the presence of God in every moment, we are taking part in a life of love. Offering one's daily duties to God obliges us to labor for the salvation of the souls whom He has entrusted to us. Each and every encounter, each and every person placed in our path is an opportunity for us to love Jesus. This is the promise of the Father. Laura SEND Today, offer a hidden sacrifice to God by choosing the heavier cross in serving someone in need of your assistance, even within your own home.
